This testimonial is and excerpt from and e-mail written by a General Foreman to his management team at a nationally recognized prime electrical contractor in the electric transmission, substation, distribution, renewable energy, power and industrial industries:
Good morning gents,
As you are both aware of, Jason and I attended NFPA 70E training on Thursday and Friday at Crown ERAM. I’ll start by saying that this was one of the best courses I’ve taken in my career. Scott was a great instructor with a wealth of knowledge he was willing to share.
I’ve taken other electrical safety courses in the past and there is no comparison. Everything was spelled out in a way that everyone could understand and visualize in a real-life situation. The proficiency portion (Semi-Truck) I had never done before.
This was such a great experience. We covered several different switches and breakers from a variety of manufacturers. Although we will most likely not be operating some of this equipment at our facility, this training is irreplaceable. To know what to look for and the hazards involved is a great thing.
I truly believe I am safer and better off today than before I took this training. The things we learned could save a life or a lifetime of misery. I would suggest this class to anyone who deals with switchgear and/or large panel boards regularly. All in all, a great class with lessons I will carry with me for the rest of my career.
Thanks, and have a great day,
